My coaching approach

Throughout my career, I have been privileged to walk alongside people at their most vulnerable and challenging periods of life.  I have been inspired by every person I have met; the strength and resilience and courage I have seen have been phenomenal.

I bring this attitude to coaching – I believe in your strength and resilience, that you have it within you to make any changes and achieve anything you want. Whilst you may have some challenges or problems to address in coaching, you are not a problem. I believe that solutions, change and opportunity can be found, and you have the potential to find them.

My approach is to support you with any aspects of wellness and resilience of your choosing. I will help you to work through any obstacles you may face, identify goals, and take action towards change.

A large part of my career has been working with people’s strengths, uncovering them and using them to reach your potential. I have completed a masterclass with Ryan Niemiec from the VIA Institute on Character Strengths. Strengths can be a part of your coaching, and I have a platform on the VIA institute for you to complete a strengths assessment and share it with me to use in our work. I have also seen the power of living in alignment with our values. Values work can be a part of your coaching if you would like it to be.

I will draw on the following to support our coaching sessions:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Coaching
  • Strengths Coaching
  • Appreciative Coaching
  • Solution Focused Coaching
  • Values Coaching
  • Self Determination Theory
  • Positive Psychology
