Self-esteem refers to the attitude you have towards yourself. it encompasses what we think, feel and believe about ourselves.

Self-esteem is not fixed - it can be improved upon. 


Resilience can be described as “The Capacity to remain flexible in our thoughts, feelings and behaviours when faced by a life disruption, or extended periods of pressure so that we emerge from difficulty stronger, wiser and more able.”
